Promote and develop an effective and holistic program providing diverse and quality recreation for the enrichment of all citizens.

Parks

The Warren County Parks and Recreation Department currently owns and maintain four recreational parks in Warren County:

Upcoming Events

  • The John Graham Gym is open Monday through Friday for indoor walking.  Free play basketball for adults is Monday and Wednesday afternoon.
  • Parks & Recreation Commission Meeting - Thursday, March 12th at 6:00 p. m at Armory
  • Pickleball - The gym is open for pickleball on Monday, Wednesday and Friday’s morning from 9:00-12:00
  • Pickleball Tournament -Thursday-Saturday, February 20-22 at John Graham Gym.  We will have Men’s Double, Women’s Double and Mixed Double.  The deadline for entering a team is Wednesday, February 12th.
  • Free Play Basketball - The gym will be open from 1:00-5:00 on Saturday and 4:00-7:00 on Sunday. This opening will start on Saturday, January 4th and run through Sunday, March 29th.
  • Youth Basketball Schedule - week of Jan. 27th - Monday, January 27 - Midget Basketball - 6:00 - Hornets vs Bobcats 6:45 - Celtics vs 76ers  Tuesday, January 28 - 6-9 Basketball - 6:00 - Cavaliers vs Wolfpack 6:45 - Blue Devils vs Yellow Jackets 7:30 - Deacons vs Tigers Wednesday, January 29 - Midget Basketball - 6:00 - Celtics vs Bobcats 6:45 - 76ers vs Hornets Thursday, January 30 - 6-9 Basketball - 6:00 - Cavaliers vs Tigers 6:45 - Wolfpack vs Yellow Jackets 7:30 - Blue Devils vs Deacons
  • Dance Classes - A dance class will be held in John Graham Gym for children ages 6-9 from 10am-11am on February 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd.  You must be able to attend every class and must be able to attend the Public Showcase to be held on Friday, February 28 from 6pm-7pm.  At this showcase, the students that attended these classes will perform as well as other dance groups.  Your child will be learning skills and one and a half minute long dances in the styles of ballet, lyrical, jazz and hip hop.
