Promote and develop an effective and holistic program providing diverse and quality recreation for the enrichment of all citizens.

Parks

The Warren County Parks and Recreation Department currently owns and maintain four recreational parks in Warren County:

Upcoming Events

  • Parks & Recreation Commission Called Meeting - Thursday, August 12th at 6:00 p.m.
  • SOUL CITY POOL IS NOW OPEN.  THE HOURS OF OPERATION IS TUESDAY-FRIDAY - 1:00-6:00, SATURDAY 12:00-7:00, SUNDAY - 2:00-6:00
  • YOUTH FALL SPORTS REGISTRATION - Registration will begin on Wednesday, July 28th for Youth Soccer (ages 4-5, 6-9, 10-12 & 13-15), Flag Football (ages 6-9 & 10-12), Girls Volleyball (ages 10-12 & 13-15) and Cheerleading (ages 7-12). Registration will be held at the Recreation Dept. office from 8:30-5:00 Monday-Friday and on Saturday, July 31st and August 7th from 9:00-12:00.

    The deadline for signing up is Saturday, August 7th. Anyone wishing to sign up after this date will be put on a waiting list.  Your birth certificate, a $10.00 registration fee and a parent or guardian to sign up are required to register.  You may also register through the Civic Rec link on the county web page.  For more information, contact the Recreation Dept. at 252-257-2272.
